Recruiting Information

As part of our continued effort to provide recruiting support and resources through Millennium Volleyball Club, we wanted to send a quick reminder about the significance of today from a recruiting standpoint.

June 15 is the first day collegiate coaches can typically begin direct recruiting communication with prospective student-athletes entering their junior year of high school. This generally applies to NCAA Division I and Division II programs. NCAA Division III, NAIA, and other levels may follow different timelines and rules.

Even if your daughter is not yet old enough to be officially recruited, we strongly encourage high school athletes who are interested in playing at the next level to begin researching college options early. This process can feel overwhelming or unnecessary at first, but it is never too early to start learning about schools, programs, academic options, roster needs, and what level may be the best fit.

Below are images outlining our recommended steps for athletes and families who are considering playing college volleyball.

As we get closer to tryouts, we will continue putting together informational sessions and resources to help families better understand the recruiting process, important dates, and next steps.

If you have any questions regarding the recruiting process, please reach out to Brandon Duvall, Director of Recruiting.
